ST, MATTHEWS, SC (WCSC) - Police in St. Matthews and Crimestoppers identified one of two suspects in an Oct. 20 carjacking.

Johnny Steve Moye, 30, is wanted for attempted murder, carjacking, unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and pointing and presenting a firearm.  In a Crimestoppers released, Moye is described as armed and dangerous.

Police say Moye and another man fired a gun outside a convenience store and carjacked a Cadillac on Oct. 20.

According to police, two men approached another man standing by his 1997 Cadillac Deville at a Short Stop Gas Station on Bridge Road and asked for directions.

He was ordered by one of the men to put his personal belongings in the car, but the victim refused. Then, the second suspect lifted his shirt to reveal a silver semi-automatic handgun and ordered the victim to the other side of Bridge Road.

The first suspect got into the car and pulled up to pick up the second suspect. They drove away towards US 601.

The car and suspects have not been located.
