GREENSBORO, NC (AP) - Investigators say a man wanted in the fatal shooting of a 28-year-old man in Greensboro has turned himself in to police in Charleston, S.C.
The News & Record of Greensboro reports that police say 32-year-old Shawn King was taken into custody Sunday morning. Messages left for the Charleston County Sheriff's Department spokesman were not immediately returned Sunday.
King is charged with murder in the shooting death of Timothy Lee Wilkerson. Wilkerson died Friday night at a local hospital after officers found him with a gunshot wound at an intersection near downtown.
Investigators say the two men argued before the shooting, but they don't know what the disagreement was over.
