COLUMBIA, SC (WCSC) - A North Charleston man was sentenced in federal court Thursday on charges of robbing a postal carrier.
Terron Lamar Bryant, 27, was sentenced to 130 months, the US Attorneys Office stated.
During a plea hearing, prosecutors presented evidence that showed that on June 27, 2009, Bryant approached a US Postal Service mail carrier, pulled a gun on her and ordered her back into her vehicle. Bryant stole the postal worker's personal bag.
A tip from CrimeStoppers led to Bryant's arrest five days later.
