Ex-DNC chairman discusses elections at The Citadel

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Now that the election is over, former Democratic National Committee chairman Don Fowler is discussing what the results will mean for the country.

Fowler is from South Carolina and was DNC chair from 1995 through 1997. He speaks Tuesday at The Citadel. Fowler also teaches a course in midterm elections at the school's graduate college.

Fowler headed the Democratic National Committee during 1996 when President Bill Clinton defeated Republican Bob Dole to win re-election.
