Police: Suspect tased victim during James Island home invasion

JAMES ISLAND, SC (WCSC) – Charleston police are looking for two suspects they say tased a female victim during a home invasion last weekend.

According to police, two offenders entered a residence at Harbor Cove Apartments on James Island around 2:30 a.m. Saturday. One suspect was armed with an expandable baton, which was left on scene and the other had a stun gun.

Police say the offender armed with a stun gun tased one of three victims inside the residence.

Surveillance video shows the first suspect using one of the victim's ATM cards at the Kangaroo gas station at the intersection of Folly and Camp roads.

The first suspect is described as a 5'11" black male in his early 20's with heavy build, brown complexion and a goatee.

The second suspect is described as a 5'11" black male with dark brown complexion and thin build.
