RAVENEL, SC (WCSC) - A woman apparently abducted and forced into her trunk called 911 early Tuesday morning as her assailant drove the car, sheriff's deputies said.

According to the nearly 20-minute long 911 recording released Tuesday afternoon by the Charleston County Sheriff's Office, the woman provided dispatchers with enough information on her car and her location to give deputies a chance to find her alleged abductor.

The frantic call started with the victim screaming into her cell phone, "He's got me in the trunk! He put me in the trunk and we're going down 17!"

However, the dispatcher was able to get the woman to describe her car -- a gold 1997 Oldsmobile Intrigue -- and her general direction. The victim even indicated the driver had turned left off on Highway 17.

The victim identified her attacker as Jeremiah Brown, a man she earlier said was her boyfriend.

At nearly three minutes into the 911 call, Brown and the victim got into another verbal altercation. In the background, Brown can be heard saying, "Give me my money, then. And take me home"

"I'm not taking you home. I'll give you your money. Get away from me," the victim responded.

The fight continued, but the audio on the 911 call dropped out as the victim and the suspect moved away from the phone. Dispatchers commented they could hear the fight, but "it was very muffled."

Deputies searching for the car spotted it moving northbound on Highway 17 near Highway 162. They stopped the vehicle at the Smokers Express on Savannah Highway. Brown was taken into custody for questioning and later charged with kidnapping.

The victim has refused to comment to media on her ordeal.

Brown, the alleged assailant, has a long criminal history, records show. In 2007, Brown was charged with domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature and assault and battery. In 2008, Brown was convicted of 1st degree burglary and a second charge of domestic violence.

In March of this year, he was also charged with domestic violence.
