A woman apparently abducted and forced into her trunk called 911 early Tuesday morning as her assailant drove the car, sheriff's deputies said.

Police: Duo bites, stuns Walmart employees in meat heist

Charleston police arrested a man and a teenaged boy accused of biting and shocking employees at a Walmart while trying to escape the store with more than $750 of meat Monday night.

Police say a couple posing as employees of Sam's Club tricked a senior citizen and stole her wallet.

Carol Kelley, 79, said that a well-dressed man and woman walked up to her last Friday as she was leaving the store at Tanger Outlet.

Metal detector screenings. You go through them at the airport, at the courthouse and now at some South Carolina schools. Georgetown County School District now has metal detectors at its four high schools and four middle schools.
