Alumni donate millions at Citadel homecoming

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Citadel graduates returning for homecoming donated almost $10 million to the state military college in Charleston.

The school announced Wednesday the college received the contributions through gifts and pledges from alumni celebrating class reunions at homecoming events last weekend.

Nearly $3 million is current gifts and the rest is planned giving the school will receive from estates of the graduates.
