GREER, S.C. (AP) - Police are patrolling the Greer neighborhood where more than 100 people gathered after the shooting death of a 24-year-old man.
Multiple media outlets report Justin Lamar Dillard was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting at around 8 p.m. Wednesday.
More than 100 people gathered in the neighborhood after Dillard was shot.
Police say a fight broke out between some of Dillard's relatives and another man's family. One person was charged with public intoxication and another with disorderly conduct.
Police say they want to interview 21-year-old Rusty Antwon Jones. They say Jones is wanted on several bench warrants, but has not been charged in connection with Dillard's death.
