JAMES ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - Police captured a man they say robbed a woman outside a James Island bank Nov. 11.
Octavious Leon Carr, 22, was arrested and charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Carr is being held at the Charleston County Detention Center.
According to Charleston police, a black male suspect approached a woman at the Bank of America ATM on Folly Road and demanded money. The victim gave the man $20. She was not injured.
A judge set Carr's bond at $150,000. According to his rap sheet, Carr served time in prison for assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.
He has a pending charge of pointing and presenting firearm. Carr also told the judge he is on parole.
