JAMES ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - Charleston police say two men robbed a woman at the Bank of America ATM Friday night armed with guns on Folly Road in James Island.
This is the second armed robbery at this location in the past couple of days. It's also the third armed robbery at an ATM in last 48 hours in Charleston.
According to police the victim was taking money out of the ATM when she saw two dark skinned males wearing all black coming towards her car. The suspects demanded the woman to give them her cell phone, and then told her to leave the scene.
Investigators say the victim fled the scene in her vehicle and flagged down officers near by. According to authorities the suspects got away with 800 dollars in cash from the victim's account.
Police are still looking for the two suspects who were last seen wearing black ski masks and black gloves. Both men are 6'2" in height and 170 pounds.
