The 58-year-old victim was taken to the Medical University Hospital with cuts to his leg and arm.

According to the police report, the victim was leaving the Crowfield Plantation Homeowners Association meeting shortly before 8:30 p.m. when he spotted a brush fire starting a few feet from the amenity center.
