GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - When a man found two juveniles setting fire to the Cherry Hill Amenity Center in Goose Creek Monday night, he was stabbed, a police reported stated.
The 58-year-old victim was taken to the Medical University Hospital with cuts to his leg and arm.
According to the police report, the victim was leaving the Crowfield Plantation Homeowners Association meeting shortly before 8:30 p.m. when he spotted a brush fire starting a few feet from the amenity center.
He called the fire department and then confronted a white male suspect who was near the fire, the report stated. Then, a second suspect came up from behind and cut the victim, he told police.
Police found the knife and a white handkerchief near the scene. They retrieved surveillance video from security cameras at the building.
So far, the two suspects have not been found.
