Summerville HS students evacuated after fire

SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - Students at Summerville High School were evacuated from the building Thursday morning after a small fire in one of the bathrooms.

Someone set a roll of toilet paper on fire.  Three teachers quickly extinguished the fire, but due to the amount of smoke produced, the school was evacuated as a precaution.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:30 a.m.  After Summerville fire officials cleared the scene, students were let back into the school around 10:15.
