Solicitor: unclear if wounded witness will testify in murder trial

WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) -  The 9th Circuit Solicitor's Office says it will proceed with a murder trial November 29th, even though one of their key witnesses was shot.

Charleston County deputies say the witness, 26-year-old George E. Brown was shot four times outside his home on Corral Drive in the Ponderosa subdivision last Thursday.

A spokesman for the solicitor's office says it is unclear if Brown will testify against Antwaun Henderson on Monday. Investigators say Brown witnessed the murder Henderson is accused of committing.

So far no arrests have been made in last week's shooting.
