CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - The halls are decked for a busy holiday season in historic Charleston.
On Saturday, the first holiday Farmers Market is held in Marion Square featuring goods from local farmers and artisans. It's being held on weekends through Dec. 19.
The lighting of the city's Christmas tree is followed by the annual holiday parade of boats winding its way through Charleston Harbor Saturday night.
On Sunday, the city holds its annual Christmas parade. At Marion Square, there's Hanukkah in the Square, a celebration that features music, dancing and the lighting of a 9-foot Menorah by Charleston's Holocaust survivors.
