CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - It is a bitter cold Tuesday morning across the Lowcountry.
Temperatures started off in the upper teens inland and mid 20's along the coast. A northwest breeze may push wind chills down in the single digits and low teens until mid morning or so.
By Tuesday afternoon, plenty of sunshine will not do much to warm us up, with highs only in the upper 30's to near 40 along the south coast counties.
Overnight it will be cold again with lows back down in the low 20's and teens far inland.
A few clouds will work back in on Wednesday as temperatures should finally break the lower 40's.
There should be a pattern change to milder and somewhat wetter weather later in the week into the weekend.
