CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The grip of Old Man Winter on the Lowcountry has reached its peak Wednesday morning as morning temperatures in most locations made it into the mid to upper teens.
Some record lows may be close, but we will have to wait and see what the National Weather Service recorded at the Charleston International Airport and downtown Charleston.
A slow warm up is ahead Wednesday as temperatures stay in the mid 30's through noon and should top out in the lower 40's Wednesday afternoon.
Clouds will slowly increase Wednesday afternoon and evening as a storm system gets going over the deep south states.
Wednesday night's lows will be milder near 30 degrees as clouds should hold temperatures up a bit.
Thursday looks like a mix of sun and clouds are on the way with highs in the upper 50's. Friday could reach 60 degrees with some showers.
