CSO to have guest conductor at holiday concert

CHARELSTON, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston Symphony Orchestra, the CSO Chorus, and the CSO Children's Chorus will present a Charleston holiday tradition with their Holiday Celebration Concert, and the event will have a guest conductor for one song, and that conductor could be you.

Dr. Robert Taylor will relinquish his baton for "Sleigh Ride".  The CSO will auction off the conductorship as a fundraiser.  The highest bidder will conduct the piece from the podium and will attend one of the two dress rehearsals to rehearse with the orchestra and receive conducting tips from Dr. Taylor.  The auction winner will also get his or her own dressing room the night of the show.
