More charges filed against alleged Luz's robbers

WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) - Charleston Police have charged two men and a woman for the Nov. 2 armed robbery at the ATM at the Wachovia Bank at 828 Orleans Rd.

Joseph Anthony Brown, 26, of 1905 Dolton St. in North Charleston, Daniel Antoine Brown, 22, of 5701 Bradford St. in North Charleston and Annquinelle Josette Brown, 21 of 5403 Hwy. 162, Hollywood, are all charged with armed robbery.

The suspects were already being held in the Charleston County Detention Center on robbery and weapon charges by North Charleston Police.

After being arrested and interviewed by North Charleston Police in connection to the Luz's restaurant robbery, additional information was obtained that implicated these three individuals in the Nov. 2 armed robbery at the Wachovia Bank ATM.

A third brother, David Brown, was implicated in the Nov. 20 robbery.

Charleston Police acted upon this information which led to additional armed robbery charges against these individuals.

The armed robbery occurred about 9:30 p.m. when an employee from a jewelry store was attempting to make a deposit through the ATM. An armed suspect robbed her of the bank deposit bag and her purse.

The investigation is ongoing.
