Myrtle Beach airport sets passenger record in 2010

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - Officials at Myrtle Beach International Airport say traffic figures will show that 2010 was a record year for passengers.

Airport spokeswoman Kimberly Dahlin told The Sun News of Myrtle Beach that updated traffic numbers will be released during a news conference Thursday.

Dahlin says the airport has already broken the 2007 record of 839,450 inbound passengers and 844,373 outbound.
