Man dies after Goose Creek wreck

GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - One man was killed after a two-car accident in Goose Creek early Friday morning.

According to the Berkeley County Coroner's Office, a car driven by 31-year-old, Avery McGee of Goose Creek collided with another vehicle on Red bank Road in Goose Creek at 12:35 a.m. 

McGee was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, a release stated. The death will be ruled as accidental with head trauma as the cause of death.

The accident happened at the intersection of Old State Road and Red Bank Road in Goose Creek. Authorities said that one of the vehicles flipped several times into the yard of St. Andrews Church.

There is no word on the condition of those involved in the wreck or if the car damaged the church.
