RAVENEL, SC (WCSC) – Charleston County sheriff's deputies are conducting an investigation after two people were shot and six vehicles were damaged following a shooting in Ravenel early Sunday morning.

Deputies responded to Club 17 South located at 4213 Savannah Highway at 4:15 a.m. Sunday after reports of shots fired in a parking lot where several cars were damaged. When deputies arrived on scene they found approximately five cars damaged by gunshots.

According to the sheriff's office, deputies found an additional car located on Old Charleston Highway in the Red Top area during a check of the surrounding area. This car was also damaged by gunshots.

Deputies also found blood in the car and the car had been reported stolen through the Charleston Police Department about a month ago. The vehicle, a black Honda, was towed to the sheriff's office evidence compound to be processed.

A short time later, deputies responded to St. Francis Hospital after being advised that two people were there being treated for gunshot wounds. The injuries were not life threatening, but one of the victims had been shot multiple times. The victims did not cooperate fully with investigators.

This is the second shooting at the club within the last year. Three people were shot April 3.
