COLUMBIA, SC (WCSC) – Three Orangeburg men were indicted on drug charges Wednesday.
According to the District Attorney's office, Rigoberto Gonzalez-Gutierrez, 35 of Orangeburg, Manuel Soto-Gonzales, 28 of Orangeburg, and Rafael Rios-Villanueva, 35, of Houston Texas were charged in the indictment. The three face one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute 5 kilograms or more of cocaine and one count of possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine.
The arrest stems from the seizure of 3 kilograms of cocaine in a vehicle driven by Rios-Villanueva. Gonzalez-Gutierrez and Soto-Gonzales were passengers in the vehicle at the time of arrest.
Agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration worked the case.
