North Charleston convenience store robbed at gunpoint

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - North Charleston police are looking for a man they say robbed the Circle K convenience store on Dorchester Road at gunpoint Thursday morning.

According to police, a black male entered the Circle K and approached the clerk armed with a handgun and demanded money. The suspect then fled out of the store.

The clerk described the suspect as 20 to 25 years of age and said he was wearing gloves, a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

No one was injured during the robbery.
