Police: Man robs Wendy's at knife point

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - North Charleston police are looking for a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery at a Wendy's fast food restaurant Monday night.

According to police, a black male entered the Wendy's on University Boulevard with a knife and demanded money just before 9 p.m. He left with an undetermined amount of money. No one was injured during the robbery.

The cashier told police that the subject approached the register with his hood over his head and stated, "Give me all the money." When the cashier backed up, the subject stated, "I ain't playin," and produced a large kitchen knife.

The cashier said that she then backed away from the register and the subject then walked around the counter and pried the cash drawer open, taking all the cash. The cashier said the subject then exited the door that he had entered and fled on foot towards the Arby's.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6'3" to 6'5", with thin build. The victim told police the suspect was wearing a red T-shirt beneath a black hoodie, with dark pants and red and white shoes. The suspect was light-skinned with a short haircut and some facial hair.
