Georgetown man arrested for several counts of residential burglary

GEORGETOWN, SC (WCSC) – The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office arrested a man in connection with a string of recent burglaries.

According to the sheriff's office, 37-year-old James Robert Glisson is charged with 14 counts of burglary in the second degree and one count of burglary in the first degree.

After an extensive investigation, authorities charged Glisson in connection with several burglaries that occurred between Nov. 1 and Dec. 19, 2010 in the Waccamaw Neck section of Georgetown County.

Glisson is currently being held at the Georgetown County Detention Center.
