Summerville smoking ban passes

SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) -  The proposed smoking ban in Summerville was passed on a vote of 4 to 3 at Wednesday night's town council meeting.

Wednesday's vote was the town council's second vote on the smoke-free ordinance. Members approved it in a 4-to-1 vote in December on the first reading.

The ban prohibits smoking in workplaces, including bars and restaurants.
