Blackwater Ukulele Festival comes to Berkeley County

BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston Hot Shots, V-Tones and Cypress Gardens are sponsoring a benefit ukulele festival for the Doc Williams SPCA on March 19 at Cypress Gardens.

Participants will get to buy a ukulele, learn how to play, and perform on the stage. Park admission is $10 for adults, children 6-12 $5 and children under 5 are free.

The price of admission gets you two free ukulele workshops, open mic session, access to ukulele vendors and a free concert by the Charleston Hot Shots, V-Tones and special guest Kent Knorr.

For adults participating in the festival the admission will be regular park admission plus $5 donation to the SPCA  for adults participating in the festival.
