Texas Roadhouse hosts fundraiser for family displaced by fire

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The Texas Roadhouse restaurant in North Charleston will be hosting a fundraiser night to benefit the Shultz family whose home was destroyed by fire on Dec. 30.

On Monday, Jan. 31, the restaurant, located on 2130 Melnick Drive, will donate a portion of the evening's food sales to the Jeremy Shultz Care Fund.

In addition, from now through Jan. 31, the store will be accepting donations of clothing and toys for the family.

Cinnamon Shultz, 11, wears a girl's size 14 and size 4 ½  shoe. Her brother, Dallas, is 4 and wears a size 5T and size 11 shoe and loves trains. Mother, Maryann, wears a large or extra-large.

Those unable to attend the fundraiser are encouraged to make a donation to the Jeremy Shultz Care Fund at any First Federal Bank of Charleston location.
