State Senate to discuss poker law

COLUMBIA, SC (WCSC) - South Carolina Senators will discuss whether to loosen centuries-old gambling laws in the state when it opens session Tuesday.

About the only legal gambling allowed in the state right now is the education lottery. The current law bans any game that involves cards or dice.

The Senate Judiciary Committee will debate whether to loosen the anti-gambling law...from 1802.
