Goose Creek Bar Shooting Suspect Faces Judge in Bond Court

BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) – Bond was set at $240,000 for a man charged with attempted murder related to a Goose Creek shooting earlier this week.

Authorities say 33-year-old Derrick Lamont Gray, also known as "Big D" surrender to police Thursday after being wanted in connection with a shooting at a bar in Goose Creek.

Gray appeared in the Hill-Finlea Detention Center bond court Thursday night. His bond was set at $240,000 on attempted murder charges.

Gray was wanted in connection with the shooting that happened Tuesday at Stryker's Bar on 1420 Redbank Rd. The victim, a 24-year-old man, remains in intensive care at a local hospital.

Gray has been arrested for drug and weapons violations in the past.
