PHILADELPHIA, PA (CBS) - A new beer distribution system that fills cups nine times faster than standard tap beer made its debut at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
The "BottomsUp" fills your cup from the bottom in less than 2 seconds. The makers of the system say it could make beer lines move nine times faster than a regular tap system because up to four cups can be filled at once.
The cup is placed on a pump which connects to the magnet at the bottom of the glass. The beer gets to the top, the magnet comes down and seals the beer in.
According to GrinOn, the system reduces draft beer waste, saves money and time, and improves operational efficiency.
Since the "BottomsUp" dispenser has been in use, people have been giving positive feedback and seem to enjoy it.
