MT. PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - Gas prices have been hovering just below the $3 mark for a few weeks, but over the weekend rose above the dreaded mark in some areas.
In Mt. Pleasant, gas is $3 a gallon in at the Exxon station on Ben Sawyer Boulevard.
There are also two BP gas stations on Savannah Highway that are selling gas for over $3 a gallon. One is selling at $3.04 per gallon and the other is $3.02.
The cheapest gas seems to be in North Charleston where one station is down to $2.83 per gallon while several others are selling gas for around $2.85 per gallon.
