CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Make sure you have the umbrella handy as you head out the door Monday.
The clear and mild weekend weather is over as a large area of rain and clouds move in across the region. Showers will be light early Monday, but will become a bit heavier by mid-day.
The chance for rain is around 50-60 percent until later this afternoon when things will dry out a bit into the evening hours. Monday's high temperature should make it into the mid 60's along the coast and mid 50's inland closer to Interstate 95.
Overnight, clouds and fog will keep temperatures in the mid 40's inland and closer to the 50 degree mark along the beaches.
Tuesday looks to be cloudy and mild, but rain should not be a big issue Tuesday. Highs will be in the mid 60's. Rain returns Wednesday and Thursday.
