NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - The National Transportation Safety Board has issued its preliminary investigation report on the North Myrtle Beach plane crash that killed two people in January.
The report shows what investigators found left of the plane as well as compared witness statements with the FAA logs.
Examination of the flight controls did not exhibit any evidence of pre-impact failure or malfunction.

The January 18th crash killed the pilot and one person inside of their RV, which was residing in the RV resort.
A final report including a probable cause for the crash could take the NTSB up to a year to release.
