CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) – A woman has pleaded guilty in her part of a plot to rob an assistant Citadel football coach last February.
Brenna Bruster pleaded guilty last week while suspect Sasha Gaskins' court date has been rescheduled for a later date.
Gaskins and Bruster are charged with armed robbery and kidnapping.
Three men, including former Citadel quarterback Miguel Starks, former Citadel player Reginald Rice and former College of Charleston student Stephen Francois, all pleaded guilty in court in January.
They are charged with stealing from Joshua Harpe at his West Ashley apartment. Investigators say Harpe was tied up and robbed.
Each could face up to 30 years in prison, but the solicitor's office asked the judge to defer sentencing until further investigation.
