COPY-Deputy pulled from field duty after wreck that killed teen

SUMTER, SC (WIS) - A Sumter County deputy will be reassigned to desk duty while the sheriff's office investigates the car wreck in which he was involved that left a teenage girl dead.

Deputy Kenneth Burris will remain on administrative duty while the Sumter County Sheriff's Department Accident Review Board investigates Burris' December 2010 accident on Wedgefield Highway. High school senior Kedreanna "Keke" Felder died a day after the accident.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol has completed its investigation and sent a copy to the Accident Review Board. The report will be publicly released on Wednesday.

So far it's unknown who was at fault in the accident.
