Trio wanted for robbing North Charleston convenience store

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Police are on the lookout for three men wanted for robbing a convenience store in North Charleston Friday morning.

The North Charleston Police Department responded to the Corner Store around 10:30 a.m. at 1489 Sumner Ave.

According to investigators, three black male subjects, one armed with a handgun, entered the store and demanded money.

The suspects took cigarettes, cigars and money and fled on foot from the business. Officers conducted a search of the area for the suspects, but the suspects were not found.

No one was injured during the incident and the amount of money taken is unknown.

Investigators describe the suspects as wearing all black, including black hooded sweatshirts and wearing black masks.
