COLUMBIA, SC (AP) - The University of South Carolina is continuing its celebration of Chinese culture with a dance performance.
The university's Confucius Institute is hosting student artists from Xiamen University in China. The school says students are performing music, dance, martial arts and puppetry on Sunday at the Brookland-Cayce High School auditorium.
The event is free and open to the public. Organizers hope it will raise awareness of Chinese cultures and how it varies within the country.
It also celebrates the Chinese New Year, which began Feb. 3.
