Bond set at $100k for arson suspect in Hanahan nightclub fire

HANAHAN, SC (WCSC) – The man charged with setting fire to a Hanahan nightclub over the weekend received a $100,000 bond in a Berkeley County courtroom Monday morning.

The Hanahan Police Department arrested 21-year-old Byron Moises Milian Ramirez of Goose Creek for allegedly setting a business on fire early Sunday morning in Hanahan.

According to authorities, the fire took place at the Havanna nightclub near The Garden Restaurant on Remount Road.

Ramirez is charged with second degree arson and is expected to have a bond hearing at the Berkeley County Detention Center on Monday.
