Lowcountry gets taste of spring as temps head for 70 degrees

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) – Spring-like temperatures are sticking around the Lowcountry, at least for the weekend and the next several days.

There are a few clouds in Thursday's forecast, but the high temperature should reach 70 on the coast and will be in the upper 60's inland.

It will be a very spring like afternoon with no humidity and a comfortable southeast wind. They sky will remain partly cloudy as the evening hours approach. Overnight, the low temperature falls back into the mid 50's.

Friday will be feature more clear skies as the forecast returns to mostly sunny weather and even warmer temperatures with highs in the mid to upper 70's.

Saturday and Sunday look nice and sunny with highs in the mid to lower 70's. It should be a beautiful warm weekend. The forecast looks to stay in the low 70's into next week too.
