Second suspect arrested for robbing pizza delivery driver

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - An 18-year-old Summerville man has been charged with robbing a pizza delivery driver at gunpoint on Jan. 29.

Charleston police arrested Teddy Maurice Gadsden Frazier, 18, of Marie Lane in Summerville, and charged him with armed robbery. He is being held in the Charleston County Detention Center, where he is scheduled to have a bond hearing Friday. Frazier is the second suspect arrested for this incident.

According to police, the pizza delivery driver was walking on Harris Street towards Morrison Drive delivering a pizza 7 p.m. when she was approached by three armed suspects who robbed her of the pizza, a pizza bag and cash.

Kresha O. Simmons, 17, of Morrison Drive, was arrested on Feb. 8 and charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime for this incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
