MYRTLE BEACH, SC (AP) - Experts from across the nation are gathering in South Carolina for a conference this week on dropout prevention.
The 23rd Annual At-Risk Youth National Forum begins Sunday and continues through Wednesday in Myrtle Beach. This year's conference focuses on improving relationships between communities and schools to increase graduation rates.
The conference is sponsored by the National Dropout Prevention Center based at Clemson University, as well as the National Dropout Prevention Center for Students with Disabilities and the Urban Initiative at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth.
