COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Columbia police are looking for a man they say stole a woman's purse after he test-drove her car that was for sale.

Columbia Police Chief Randy Scott said Andrew James Addy, 40, is wanted for financial transaction card fraud and financial transaction card theft.

Scott said that on February 5, Addy stole a woman's purse that had been left inside her vehicle that he was test driving. When he returned the vehicle to her home on Gregg Street, Scott said Addy stole the purse and removed credit cards which he used at area convenience stores to purchase several hundred dollars in items.

Chief Scott asked anyone with information of the whereabouts of Andrew James Addy to call Crimestoppers at 888-CRIME-SC.
