North Charleston home catches fire for second time

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - North Charleston firefighters are trying to figure out what caused an early morning house fire on Greenridge Road.

That's right off I-26.

According to witnesses, this is the second time the home, located in the 8100 block of Greenridge Road off Interstate 26, has caught fire.

The fire happened around 2:30 a.m. Monday and took firefighters about 30 minutes to get it under control. No one was injured.

The owners had been living elsewhere while the home was under construction to repair damage caused by a previous fire.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
