COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley says President Barack Obama is in no hurry for a U.S. Supreme Court review of his health care legislation.
Haley was in Washington with the nation's governors on Monday to meet with the president.
In an interview after the question and answer session with the president, Haley said she's disappointed that Obama doesn't want an expedited review of health care reform.
Haley says the president is aware of South Carolina's issues with the need to deepen the harbor in the Port of Charleston to handle larger ships coming through the Panama Canal in a few years.
She says Obama called the Charleston port important. The president did not include money for a study on the deepening of the harbor in his executive budget.
