LADSON, S.C. (AP) - An armored vehicle maker based in South Carolina is opening a Canadian subsidiary.
Ladson-based Force Protection announced Monday the formation of Force Protection Survivability Solutions Canada Inc.
Force Protection chief executive Michael Moody says the location will allow the company to better serve the Canadian market.
Force Protection makes mine-resistant, ambush-protected vehicles. It has also developed accessories to make the vehicles better able to withstand explosions.
