Most Wanted suspect William Holmes pays restitution

CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - A Most Wanted suspect paid restitution and is no longer wanted by authorities.

Charleston County sheriff's deputies had been looking for William Holmes. Holmes, 50, was wanted on charges of violating South Carolina's check law in excess of $1,000.

Investigators say Holmes tries to pass himself off as a contractor and after he got out of jail committed yet another crime.

Holmes has a long criminal record. He's been in jail 12 times since 1995.
