SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say a woman who veered off a Spartanburg street and struck three children blamed a frosty windshield for the collision.
Spartanburg police said in a news release the children were hit around 7 a.m. Monday and didn't suffer life-threatening injuries.
Police say a 41-year-old woman driving the SUV told officers she didn't clear all the frost off her windshield before she started to drive.
The woman is charged with driving too fast for conditions and driving without a license in her possession.
